Wi-Pics

The Wi-Pics system, consisting of a Wi-Pics belt pack, camera interface card and connecting cable, brings a photographic workflow into the 21st century. As a complete replacement for interchangeable flash cards, the Wi-Pics system improves workflow reliability. As a comprehensive image transmission system, Wi-Pics allows a photographer to deliver better images, faster.

Wi-Pics (Base Unit)
This unit is great for someone who already has many CF cards and would like to take advantage of Wi-Pics Data association and wireless capabilities. The base unit includes two CF slots. If using data association you must have a flash card inserted into each slot. One flash card for storing the original camera file, the second flash card for storing the data associated file. Minimum CF card size is 64MB. The CF cards also act as a backup of the image, so the user has the original file, data associated file, and if they are wireless, the transmitted file.
Wi-Pics with Hard Drive
Same as the base unit above but includes a 20Gb internal hard drive for storage. When using data association capabilities of Wi-Pics, the hard drive is partitioned into two separate storage areas, 10Gb for the original camera files and 10GB for the data associated files.

If you not to utilize the data association capabilities, the hard drive can be configured into a single partition, giving the user you 20Gb for storage of original camera files. This unit is great for anyone who needs a lot of storage for images.

NOTE: Camera must support Fat32 specification to utilize entire 20Gb of storage space. Camera's that only support the Fat16 specification will be limited to 2.2Gb of storage space.
Wi-Pics with Bar Code Scanner
Same as the base unit but with an integrated barcode scanner. When using the barcode scanner, data association must be enabled and two CF cards inserted into the Wi-Pics. This is great for event, theme park, and school photographers. You can preprint cards with marketing info and a barcode, this barcode could simply be a number, student ID, Team name whatever you may need to identify your images. You can scan your cards pre shot or post shot meaning.

Pre-shot: You scan a card(s) first then every image you shoot after will have that data associated with it.

Post-shot: Shoot your images first, then scan the card(s) to associate the data on the card to the image just shot.
